Galatians 4:4-7

If a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

 

『But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,  To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. 』 (Galatians 4:4-7)

This means that before he is a son, he is a servant of Satan. “After this, it is not a servant.” Here, we have to realize the meaning of this. “When God sends the spirit of his Son into our hearts,” that is, when God sends the Holy Spirit, you become the Son of God. That is, when the saint dies on the cross with Jesus, God resurrects the dead with the Holy Spirit. So, you are led and lived by the Holy Spirit, not the law. In Romans 8:14『 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 』

The reason God gives the Spirit of the Son is to make him free from the servanthood. That is the redemption. ``Redeem those who are under the law,'' and God redeems those who have left God when they repent and turn around. To repent and turn back means to die on the cross with Jesus. Redemption is the concept of God paying the blood of Jesus and buying a servant from Satan. When Satan's servant repents and turns, Jesus' death is applied to change the status of "God is the Son." In Galatians 3:13『 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 』 It was said that the redemption was done in the curse of the law, and that every one hanging on the tree was cursed by God. So, even the redeemed was cursed by God because of Jesus Christ, and the requirements of the law were fulfilled. In order to apply to the believer for the curse Jesus received on the cross, it must be faith united with Jesus.

Those who died with Jesus fulfill the demands of the law. Therefore, he is not a servant, but a son of God. The request of the law is a curse and death. In Romans 8:3-4『 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 』 In other words, the demand of the law is death on the cross. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, received the punishment that sinners must receive. In order for the "punishment of Jesus Christ" to be recognized as "the sinner's," it takes faith to enter into Jesus Christ. That faith is the faith that dies and rises with Jesus. This faith is the faith of those who follow the Spirit, not the flesh. If you still follow the flesh, you are not in the faith.

The meaning of following the body means "the body is the subject and living legally." All beings who leave the kingdom of God and become humans follow the law. For they are under the law of God's wrath. Conversely, those who pursue the Spirit are those who are united with Jesus Christ who died under the law. In conclusion, those who follow the body are those who obey the law and those who follow the spirit are those who have been killed by the law.

In Galatians 4:4-5 『But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. This and the words of Romans 8:1-2 have the same meaning. 『There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. In Galatians 4:4-5, the law of "the one who has been given the son's cause" is gone. And in Romans 1-2, the law of the Spirit of Life applies to those who are in Christ Jesus. This is because the law of the Holy Spirit of life is a law above the law (Moses' law).

People say, "Now that the law is gone, do we not have to keep it?" I say. Since the law of the Holy Spirit of Life leads, those who are in Christ have nothing to do with the law. By the way, what is the law of the Spirit of Life? God gave the law to sinners who left God because they wanted to be like God.

Those who follow fresh always think of the work of the flesh. So, it is to realize that you are a sinner. However, the law of the Holy Spirit of Life is now to give the food of spiritual life to those who have realized sin and repented and returned to God. Those who are subject to the law of the Holy Spirit always think of the work of the Spirit.『 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 』 Even if you think you are born again, if you feel that you need to keep the law, it is not that you are born again. He thinks of the law because he is a thinker of the flesh. But those who are born again always think of God's work. God's work is to save the spirit.

Those who obey the law of the Holy Spirit participate in God's new covenant. However, if you do not participate in the new covenant, you become a participant in the old covenant based on the law. The new covenant established by Jesus is the blood covenant. Jesus' new covenant is that those who eat Jesus' flesh and drink blood are those who participate in the new covenant. Soon, those who die on the cross with Jesus and have faith in resurrection become partakers of the new covenant. Those who participate in the new covenant are those who are independent of the law (old covenant).

In the past, the Israelites broke the covenant because they did not keep the law. So, God will give a new covenant in the future, and engrave it in the hearts of the people, and God will fulfill the new covenant. What the mind engraves is what the Holy Spirit does. So, whoever looks at the brass serpent on the pole, the Holy Spirit seals their hearts.

Jeremiah 31:31-34 prophesied about the new covenant.『 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 』

『Saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me』 This means that those who are in the Holy Spirit become one with God, so they no longer need to learn God. However, even a born-again person has a body, so there are difficulties while in this world. So God is assured by the Holy Spirit. In Romans 8:26-28『 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 』 The Bible tells us that "only those who are born again must do their best to establish the kingdom of God on this earth."
