Galatians 2:1-4

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised

Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: (Galatians 2:1-4)

After the Apostle Paul met Jesus in Damascus, he went to Arabia and then to Damascus again. And after three years there, he goes to Jerusalem to meet Peter. And he lived in his hometown "daso". Barnabas visited Paul in daso, was invited to go to Antioch, and Paul went to Antioch again with Barnabas. While working in Antioch, there was a problem with the law that the Jews kept. In chapter 2, verse 1
Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also .

At that time, the Jews came to the Antioch Church and taught people, "We are saved by faith, but we must be circumcised." Antioch Church was a Gentile church. So, the church members of Antioch sent Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem to solve this problem. So, Paul and Barnabas met Peter and James and others before the General Assembly of Jerusalem opened to preach the situation of the Antioch Church. In Galatians 2:2-4 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

So, when they heard this, Paul was admitted that the Gospel of Paul at the Jerusalem General Assembly had no defects. As for revelation, it means the one that is covered is taken off. In Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

The true image is Jesus Christ. Through the Old Testament rites, it would not have been a revelation if the people had not looked upon Christ. In Hebrews 10:10, By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Galatians 3:23-24 explains that if we do not find Christ in the law, we are trapped. It is not relying on the law to achieve righteousness, but recognizing Christ while trying to keep the law and realizing righteousness cannot be achieved.

Those who do not understand revelation are blind people of the kingdom of God. Jesus is in Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Those who are blind to the kingdom of God are in this state. God spoke through the prophet Isaiah. In Isaiah 6:9-10, And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Why did God tell the Israelites, "If you hear it, you will not understand it, but you will see it, but you will not know it?" The reason is given in Isaiah 29:13. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: The commandment of man is "to achieve the purpose of man by using only Bible verses without knowing the will of God in the Bible." The representative will be tithing. They say that if you tithe well, you will be rich in the blessings spoken by the prophet Malachi.

In Matthew 23:23, Jesus Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. The Bible points out what the Israelites did. Paying tithing of peppermint, fennel, and roots means paying tithes with very little income. The Bible says that it is good to pay tithing so carefully. However, when the tithe was given, the Bible points out that righteousness, mercy, and faith, as set out in the law, were abandoned. In other words, paying tithing by law was a good thing, pointing out that the righteousness, mercy, and faith contained in the law were abandoned.

They have to do the law and see the good things the law wants to reveal, but they have abandoned the good things that the law says will come in the future. After all, the Bible points out that righteousness, mercy, and faith should not be abandoned when paying tithing. You must have a good understanding of the righteousness, mercy, and faith in the law of Jesus. Righteousness means judgment. It means that the judgment in the law has been abandoned. The law was given to realize sin, and that is judgment. The law meant that all Israelites were guilty and must be judged.

All the Israelites should be judged, thinking that they were righteous by tithing. Jesus points out that they forgot all that they had to be judged while tithing. Mercy means giving, and God is showing mercy to sinful angels who have not kept their dwelling place. God did not destroy the sinful angel, but gave God the opportunity and mercy to leave the kingdom of God and do good in the world.

Regarding the law, God gave the law on Mount Sinai to rescue those who have no God, those who have left God from Egypt and make them God's people. They have no choice but to be judged after leaving God, and God gave mercy and gave them the law to help them realize that they are "the one who left God." Next is faith. There is faith in the law that God saves through Christ. The apostle Paul expressed the law as an elementary teacher leading to Christ.

In the law that God gave to human beings, human beings have no choice but to be judged, and God gave mercy to humans who would leave God and come to the world to fulfill their own righteousness. However, it is said that "there are those who cannot achieve righteousness, who are bound to die, but the promise and faith to save through Christ are in the law."

In the New Testament era, aren't those who want to apply the Old Testament law to the gospel of grace ignore the new covenant Jesus said? The law is the law of God's wrath to sinners. The law is to realize sin and turn around. However, if many church leaders try to apply the law to those who seek to repent and turn to grace and enter into grace, this is the commandment of man, not the commandment of God.

Even in Galatians 4:10-11, Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain. The day is the Sabbath, the moon is the season of Israel, and the year is the Sabbath year and jubilee year. God gave the law to look to Christ, and those who try to keep it are those who do not believe that Jesus Christ has come.
